Connecticut Advisor Leaves Fidelity Private Client Group For N.Y. RIA

Just a year old, Brenton Point Wealth Advisors is expanding into a third location, in Westport, Conn., as the nascent RIA firm rapidly expands.
Brenton Point, a New York-based RIA, announced the addition of Larry Rollins, who will lead the firm’s new Westport office as a private wealth advisor. Rollins formerly served as vice president and financial consultant in Fidelity Investments’ Private Client Group Greenwich, Conn..
Joining Rollins from Fidelity is Lisa Cassidy, who will serve as senior client manager at Brenton Point.
“We are excited to welcome Larry and Lisa to our team,” said Paul Michalowski, Brenton Point’s copresident and COO, in released comment. “As we continue to expand the firm’s reach, we are pleased that successful advisors have recognized the potential of our firm’s unique model and want to participate in the firm’s growth.”
During his time with Fidelity, Rollins reportedly managed $2 billion in client assets, and has been among the top five percent of the firm’s financial consultants nationally.
Brenton Point is affiliated with investment manager Zweig-DiMenna. In addition to its new Westport office and its New York headquarters, the firm has a location in Madison, Conn. As of July 23, Brenton Point had approximately $450 million AUM.
