Brenton Point’s Co-Founder to lead the Westport, Connecticut office

NEW YORK, NY (March 26, 2021) – Brenton Point Wealth Advisors LLC (“Brenton Point”), an independent SEC registered investment advisory firm, today announced that Co-Founder Paul Michalowski will lead the Westport, CT office in anticipation of expanding its wealth advisory teams and portfolio services.
Over the past four years, Brenton Point has established itself in the wealth management space by combining the knowledge of institutional investment professionals with experienced senior wealth advisors. Brenton Point’s mission is to provide private investors, families, endowments and foundations with consistent, ongoing access to data and advice traditionally reserved for the institutional investment community.
Brenton Point’s custom advice and investment solutions are guided by the firm’s proprietary macroeconomic research process, led by Michael Schaus, Director of Market Research for both Brenton Point and Zweig-DiMenna, an investment management firm with over a 35-year legacy. Joseph DiMenna, Founder and Head Portfolio Manager of Zweig-DiMenna, views Brenton Point as a timely strategic venture that builds upon the firm’s research focus and market experience. The macro research process was originally developed under the leadership of Dr. Martin Zweig, a renowned macro-economist and author, who is credited with predicting the 1987 market crash and is known for his exhaustive data studies. Mr. Schaus worked with Dr. Zweig for 20 years before assuming responsibility for the group.
Brenton Point is headquartered in New York and is led by an experienced leadership team of investment professionals. Kevin Cannon, CEO, brings over 30 years of management experience and has been the CEO of Zweig-DiMenna for more than 20 years. Paul Michalowski, Co-President & COO of Brenton Point, has over 20 years of senior level institutional and wealth management experience ranging from hedge funds to global wealth management firms including Merrill Lynch. Patrick Gingras, Co-President and Private Wealth Advisor, brings 25 years of wealth management experience. Prior to co-founding the firm, Gingras served as Senior Vice President and Board Member of Essex Financial Services, Inc.
